The greatest similarities between Nasiruddin and our old neighbor are their quick wit and ability to find humor in grave situations. Like Nasiruddin, our old neighbor made unexpected jokes. People either really enjoyed his presence or disliked him greatly, because he spared no one with his quick answers. Reading stories about Nasiruddin reminded me of our old neighbor a lot.Write a note on the character of Nasiruddin using evidence from the lesson.In the tales about Nasiruddin, we can see that he had been many different things -- a tailor, a merchant, a doctor, and a judge. He had also travelled widely. He was an eccentric person, with sharp wit and unconventional actions. In the first story, he lent his cloak to his friend and somehow always managed to bring attention to it despite his friend asking him not to. In the second story, Nasiruddin wore a turban although he was illiterate.

When the farmer pointed that out, Nasiruddin placed his turban on the farmer's head and told him to read. These two stories show that he never failed to prove his point, even if the way he did so was strange. In the third story, with his daughters, Nasiruddin's witty comment on their situation shows that he said things that were on everyone's mind without hesitation.

Similarly, in all the stories, his responses have been quick and sharp. He always found a way to do what he wanted to. Stories about him are very amusing to read. Nasiruddin was a hilarious person, always finding himself in unexpected situations and giving surprising responses to the people around him.

Review - Title: Nasiruddin
The main idea of the lesson, Nasiruddin, was his unconventional actions and the way he found humour in serious situations. From lending his cloak to his friend Jalal to stealing potatoes -- Nasiruddin always got the last word in every situation with his witty responses. The characters were all ordinary people, with Nasiruddin making their experiences extraordinary because of his antics.

The anecdotes have been written in an interesting manner, with abrupt ends and timing that never failed to amuse the reader.
I really liked this lesson. Although I do not always enjoy anecdotes, Nasiruddin was undeniably funny and I enjoyed reading it.
I would recommend this to everyone.

B) Translate the following passage from English to Urdu.

A farmer brought a letter to Nasiruddin and requested him to read it for him. Nasiruddin wanted to be excused saying that he could not do so because he was illiterate. The farmer said, "You are wearing such a big turban and still cannot read a letter". Nasiruddin placed his turban on the head of the farmer and said, "Now you have the turban on your head. Read the letter"
